DAY 1 : MUMBAI – DIU - GIR (66kms/1hr)
Arrive at Diu from Mumbai by flight and drive to Gir. Arrival at Gir
and escorted transfer to your hotel by our tour guide. Here you will
be familiarized with the upcoming days of the tour and given further
elaborated details of the land and wildlife. You may later retire to
your rooms and relax and go for a nightcap. Gir is famous for its
lions pan –India . There is the famous Gir wildlife sanctuary that
preserves and supports the welfare of this beautiful and exorbitant
cat, graceful and non-chalant it is a spectacular sight to see.
Day 2 : GIR
Today you wake up early morning before sunrise and get dressed for a
jeep safari across the sanctuary for lion sighting. Here you will
have experienced drivers to take you along the way , in different
zones of the sanctuary where sighting probability is the most
frequent . Later you will get back to your hotel, you may then
retire to your rooms or you may find some activity at the hotel else
you may enjoy the quiet of the jungle surrounding the hotel. In the
evening there will be another safari after which you will come back
to the hotel. The Asiatic lion's fur ranges in colour from
ruddy-tawny, heavily speckled with black, to sandy or buffish grey,
sometimes with a silvery sheen in certain lights. Males have only
moderate mane growth at the top of the head, so that their ears are
always visible. Day 3 : GIR
It’s an early morning start again. You get dressed and ready before
sunrise for a jeep safari for lion sighting in the morning . Today
you get to live the experience you had yesterday and hopefully a few
questions you had in mind about the sanctuary and Indian lions. Hope
you don’t forget your cameras because it’s time to get your shutters
clicking hopefully too many times! After sightseeing you will get
back to your hotel where you will have your breakfast followed by
lunch an evening safari. Day 4 : GIR-
LITTLE RUNN OF KUTCH (400 kms. Approx )
Today you leave for Runn of Kutch after an early breakfast, it is
going to be a long road-trip, you will stop at a mid-way for lunch
and reach your destination by the evening. After reaching little
Runn of Kutch you will have dinner and later retire to your rooms.
Little desert of Kutch is a salt marsh located near the Great Rann
of Kutch in Kutch district, Gujarat, India. It is famous as the
world's last refuge of the Indian wild ass (khur) for the
conservation of which it has been declared as the Indian Wild Ass
Sanctuary. Day 5 : Little Runn of Kutch
Today after breakfast we will have another safari but this time in
the salt desert of Gujrat sighting the famous wild –ass of Gujrat.
The area through a bleak landscape it is rich in biodiversity and is
an ecologically important area for wildlife and many local and
migratory Waterbirds like cranes, ducks, pelicans, flamingos and
land birds like Sandgrouse, francolins and the Indian bustards. It
is also home to various unique mammals apart from wild ass such as
the Indian wolf (Canis lupus pallipes), desert fox (Vulpes vulpes
pusilla) and nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus). It is nominated by
the forest department to be a biosphere reserve which are areas of
terrestrial and coastal ecosystems internationally recognized within
the framework of UNESCO's Man and Biosphere (MAB) programme.
Day 6 : LITTLE RUNN OF KUTCH - GODWAD LEOPARD SAFARI CAMP ( 400
kms. Approx )
Today you will have an early breakfast and push off to the land of
Rajasthan (the land of the kings) to visit the Godwad area which is
situated in the foothills of the oldest ranges of the world (the
Aravallis ). You will stop for lunch at a pre-decided spot and reach
the Godwad leopard safari camp by the evening. This camp is a swiss
– camp tented accommodation with great landscaping and natural
surroundings also a reduced carbon footprint. The area has an
amazing cat to boast its natural importance and huge boulder like
hills. After reaching the camp you will have your dinner and retire
to bed. Day 7 : GODWAD LEOPARD SAFARI CAMP
Today after breakfast you will mount your gypsy’s/ jeep’s for a
safari that’s just going to be something like you’ve never
experienced before. The leopard (Panthera pardus) is one of the five
"big cats" in the genus Panthera. It is a member of the family
Felidae with a wide range in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Asia.
Fossil records suggest that in the Late Pleistocene it occurred in
Europe and Japan. Compared to other members of Felidae, the leopard
has relatively short legs and a long body with a large skull. It is
similar in appearance to the jaguar, but has a smaller, lighter
physique. Its fur is marked with rosettes similar to those of the
jaguar, but the leopard's rosettes are smaller and more densely
packed, and do not usually have central spots as the jaguar's do.
Both leopards and jaguars that are melanistic are known as black
panthers. The leopard is listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List
because leopard populations are threatened by habitat loss and
fragmentation, and are declining in large parts of the global range.
In Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuwait, Syria, Libya, Tunisia and most
likely in Morocco. It can run upto 56 kmph.after the safari you will
return to the camp and have breakfast followed by lunch . in the
evening there is a safari again after which you will have dinner and
retire to your rooms. Day 8 : GODWAD
LEOPARD SAFARI CAMP
The safari schedule from the day remains the same, let us hope the
thrilling cat with its measured responses has caught your attention,
the bleary eyes are not a reason for you not to go see the
war-mongering ,mysterious and confident resident of the jungle.
Godwad also has a very efficient and diverse bird life, both
domestic and migratory that fly over thousands of kilometers from
all across cold regions of the world to the lakes and water
reservoirs here at Godwad. You will be provided with the guide who
can give you quite the picture for the same. After the safari you
return to the camp and have your breakfast followed by lunch and an

GODWAD - UDAIPUR (134 kms approx )
Hope this is turning out to be just enthralling for you.! Today
after breakfast you will leave for Udaipur which is a heritage city
also known as the Venice of the east. On the way you will see the
famous Ranakpur temple built in the 15TH cent.
Light colored marble has been used for the construction of this
grand temple which occupies an area of approximately 60 x 62 meters.
The temple, with its distinctive domes, shikhara, turrets and
cupolas rises majestically from the slope of a hill. Over 1444
marble pillars, carved in exquisite detail, support the temple. The
pillars are all differently carved and no two pillars are the same.
It is also said that it is impossible to count the pillars. Also all
the statues face one or the other statue. There is one beautiful
carving made out of a single marble rock where there 108 heads of
snakes and numerous tails. One cannot find the end of the tails. The
image faces all four cardinal directions. In the axis of the main
entrance, on the western side, is the largest image.On reaching
Udaipur you may take your lunch visit the city palace and take a
boat ride in the city of lakes! The possibilities here are just
endless and this city is culturally the richest across India!
Day 10 : UDAIPUR - RANTHAMBORE (415 kms. Approx )
Today you will leave for Ranthambore after an early breakfast.
Ranthambore is situated in Sawai Madhopur area of Rajasthan and
houses the mighty tiger, your 3RD big cat Is here! Sawai Madhopur
has the world famous Ranthambore national park, this park is one of
the most frequented parks in India by people has an astonishing
diversity. On reaching the hotel it will be evening you may get a
rest followed by dinner and leisure time.
Day 11 : RANTHAMBORE
Today you will leave early for the jeep safari to the Ranthambore
national park , your primary focus will be spotting the striped
tiger, don’t forget your cameras this is a very rare sanctuary to be
missing out on capturing memories. You will later have breakfast at
the hotel followed by leisure time. After lunch, around the evening
there will be another safari waiting for you. After the evening
safari dinner will be served and you may retire to your respective
rooms. The tiger is one of the largest and most awesome predators in
the world. This species undoubtedly fascinates every eye it meets.
The body length of the majestic male ranges from 275-290 cm and of
the female around 260 cms. The size and colour vary according to the
geographic location and climate. Tiger is solitary and territorial
and the territory of an adult male may encompass territories of two
to seven females. It is carnivorous and hunts for prey primarily by
sight and sound. It feeds on deer, wild pig, bovid and sometimes
even other predators like leopards and bears.
Day 12 : RANTHAMBORE
Today is a fine day indeed! You start your day with an early morning
safari and hopefully have a lot of questions ranging from tigers to
flora and fauna which we will be more than happy to entertain. This
safari may just make your day and you see something rare, the
safaris will be the same as yesterday and you shall have the meals
at the hotel itself. Hopefully by now you’ve spotted the tiger and
have a dozen pictures already! Day 13:
RANTHAMBORE – NEW DELHI (371 kms. Approx )
Today after breakfast we will leave for Delhi , it’s a five hour
drive . On reaching Delhi you will be escorted to your hotel where
you may rest and then go for sightseeing around the place . You will
arrive at the hotel by dinner time and retire to your rooms.
Day 14 :
Today we conclude our tour in the morning its time to bid farewell.
